Here's another agate that I have no clue where it came from. Anybody with an idea?
This is what the nodule looked like whole. It's about 2 inches long or so.
Here it is cut in half:

That's a hard one as there are so many like that but the matrix looks like it possibly can by Coyamito

My first guess would Monteczuma Agate Thanks. I went and looked at images of Montezumas. The rind looks different than this one. I'm guessing I'll never know for sure, so I think Mexican agate will cover it.

I would also guess that it's a Mexican agate nodule but Agua Nueva based on the fuzzy edges trending towards plume agate. The (very) limited amount of Coyamito and Moctezuma that I have cut tend to have solid banded agate that extend out to the edge of a thin rind and didnt have much of the moss/plume going on.
