That Genie looks like it's been sitting in a swamp for a few years. $400 RESERVE NOT MET w/a buy it now of $1600 That listing page also shows a VEVOR cabber for $1240. www.ebay.com/itm/144146286042Never heard of it. Says it has a 2hp motor which is obviously a crock. 2 horses pumpin' out a 180W of rated power. Just scoped out some other prices: $2800 Diamond Pacific's list for a Genie $2160 Kingsley North's price for a Genie - 1/2hp motor $1400 Kingsley's price for a CabKing - 1/4hp motor $1290 Kingley's house brand - 1/3hp motor jasoninsd Vevor makes a lot of knock off equipment for jewelers and now lapidary, generally questionable quality. Looks like they copied the adaptor shafts like a Genie. I almost got an engraving vice/ball from vevor off of Amazon but decided to wait for better. Still don't have one but eventually... I was a little hesitant to get a Genie because although direct drive is very smooth, replacing a motor would be a real hassle. Since the Genie has a top of the line Baldor motor, I decided to take my chances. I wonder how long until you'd have to replace that 1/4 HP Vevor motor? If it were $500 new I might take my chances if that's all I could afford. But you can get a Kingsley North cabber for not much more than the Vevor, making it a horrible choice.

for one its a Titan i think those sell new for 3200 so even if you get it for 1600 it needs all new wheels @ over 1000 thats now 2600 lol and who knows what else it needs new pumps does it even run ?? i cant stop laughing on this one In all my years of eBaying- at least 25- it has been my experience that outrageous BIN are meant for stupid people who want it NOW and for those who would rather not get into a bidding war. Those prices are usually not realized. I'm curious as to where he set his reserve... and yeah, he should have cleaned it up. Or it's a psychological tool. The uninformed may think that the BIN is what it's really "worth," and getting it for anything less it a good deal. If they seller really thought it were worth the BIN price, they would just list it for that price and wait for the right buyer to come along.

I have a Genie I got used for a good price and it works fine, but if I was paying cash for brand new I would get the EZ Cab.

(180w is about 1/4 hp) He wrote back and said "1/2 hp very more powerful than 2 hp" So there's your answer.

That’s hilarious. If you really wanna feel the earth rumble check out the watt motors. I’ve got a lineup of really rugged 9w motors in my work van. Don’t let the 1/4” threaded shaft fool you.

One of my things Is I enjoy the hobby more than I enjoy equipment building. I get my fill of fixing and tinkering in my line of work.

Yeah - I'd still have to fire it up in person and see it run for a while at the $800 price.
