Hi. I'm Christene from Michigan. I love traveling the shores and collecting pretty rocks when I'm not finding them in my own yard. I've been here 4 years now and my collection of pretties is growing. My husband, who is challenged when it comes to keeping secrets and shopping for me, bought me a lortone 3a and a small assortment of grit for Christmas. So. Here I am to read and learn from what resources y'all have gathered here. Thanks for letting me in the door. ☺️

Welcome Christene, from Northern Arizona! There are lots of first class tumblers hanging out here who will answer your questions. Lots of Michigan folks here, too.
Have a gander at Jugglerguy's YouTube channel Michigan Rocks for some excellent Michigan hounding and tumbling advice, too.

Hi christene. Welcome from North Idaho. I had a Lortone 3A. It was recently retired after 28 years of service. They last forever if you oil them regularly and replace belts and bushings. They’re incredibly easy to work on. If you can manage a screwdriver, you will find it easy to maintain. I’m glad to see that you joined RTH. Looking forward to seeing some photos.

Welcome from Charles Town WV. (Think John Brown's pre-Civil War raid.) My wife and I also enjoy picking up cool rocks. Like you, I'm new to this hobby and am pretty much hooked. I have learned a lot from the folks here, but also via trial and error.
