What kind of poppy Jasper do you folks think this is?

I'm not a poppy expert by any stretch but it could be Olympic Poppy Jasper. I'm going on those small little poppies on the top of the cab. There's a few people on the board who know which ones are which. Hopefully they'll pop in and help out.

Yeah I was going to answer earlier but I'm torn because my first reaction was Olympic but the bottom section could also be Morgan Hill... It's such a small sample size it makes it difficult to give a conclusive guess.

Could be Olympic but there is stuff identical to that in Hunters Valley too. Comes in nodules and we called it Sierra Primrose jasper. Had a big deposit full of boulders containing those nodules on our old ranch and it looked identical to Olympic pebbles. Sold all my rough but I do have some cabs around in the barn somewhere. Another identical deposit was in the pit in Hunters Valley we called the "stinky horse hole".

I don’t know. It’s beautiful and would love to find out. Can confirm however that it is not Morgan Hill.
