Hello everyone
My name is Patrick. I'm 52yo. i just started rock tumbling because my son (age 13) wanted something we could do together. I have become about 10X more interested than him. I stumbled across this forum in a search for rough Mexican crazy lace. I thoroughly enjoy rockhounding locally but there is only so much quartz and jasper I want to tumble.

welcome Patrick.
Might consider doing trades as well for other material. I do a lot of trading on the Rock Swap board on Facebook. Have traded for material and even tumbling services. Good way to find different stuff.

Hi and welcome from Georgia. if you don't mind mind paying, try Kingsley North, the Rock Shed and Hausen Rock Treasures Wholesale. One of the 3 if not all 3 might can get you hooked up.

Welcome, Patrick! I lived in Alexandria for about 8 years. It's a fun area to live in, but not the best for finding rocks. I got a rock tumbler for my kids a little over a year ago and I got hooked on the rocks myself. It's a fun thing to do with kids.

Welcome from Charles Town WV. (Think John Brown's pre-Civil War raid.) Like you, I'm new to the tumbling aspect of this hobby and am pretty much hooked.
