Ok, just so everyone knows that I do have a Vib-Lap and use it here's 3 pieces I pulled off polish 2 days ago. Texas Petrified Wood. This has been River or Creek tumbled, either Terlingua Creek or Rio Grande. It has some nice color and there is a small vein of quartz running thru it. I cut a flat base then cut this end piece off. Plan on cutting one more thick slab and then polish it and the remaining end piece. The original piece was about 10 pounds. IMG_3973 by Findrocks, on Flickr Baker Ranch Nodule. Collected by me in 1975 when the Baker Ranch claim belonged to Eddie Lindberg before he gave the claim to the Geode Kid. It been at the bottom of my Rock Garden for 30 years and I noticed it when moving rocks for a fence re-build project. I cut this end off, and should get 2 more polished pieces. it has some nice small little agate areas in the rhyolite. IMG_3972 by Findrocks, on Flickr Unknown Thunderegg. Picked it up at the Deming Rock Show 2 years ago. An old rockhound was selling buckets of scraps for $10 to $20 each, I bought 4 of them and this already cut egg was in one of them. The picture does not do the piece justice. IMG_3974 by Findrocks, on Flickr

Really nice specimens Henry! That Baker Ranch T-egg really has a lot of different things going on in it! Thanks for sharing these! There's at least 10 small agate zones in the rhyolite. Be curious to see if any of them increase in size when I cut a thick slab off of the remaining piece. Figure I will get 1 thick slab(1/2" 3/4") plus the 2nd end piece.

All the pieces are very nice but my favorite is the wood. As you probably know most Petrified wood is good at hiding it's interior color, especially the river tumbled material.
