I find myself in need of a bunch of slabs. I have plenty of options for buying individual slabs so not interested in that here. What I am interested in is offerings in quantities of at least ten or more, only solid jaspers/agates, thicknesses of 1/8" or more and minimum usable area of 3" x 3" each. I know there are a lot of cutters here so if you are looking to unload some slabs of material that you have had enough of now is your chance. They do not necessarily have to be knockouts, just solid.
SPECIAL REQUEST: I know this one is a longshot but I am also looking for about fifteen 4" x 4" slabs of Hyacinth Jasper for a special project, must be solid. Any leads appreciated.
You can reply here or by PM, thanks!

How many are you looking for? I have a lot of slabs, more than I can use.

Nate and I got a slab of Hyacinth Jasper at one of our rock shows and for the life of me I cannot remember the guys name. He had a bunch of it, including rough. I could swear he said he was the one mining it or was friends of the people mining it.
He should of been at Quartzite if anyone know who I am talking about.

</div>I will send you a PM. Clarification: If all goes as planned this will be an ongoing thing, thinking 200-300 over the next year. For right now, thinking 20-40. Obviously it depends on what is offered and the price. So even if you don't have any for sale immediately keep me in mind if you are looking to unload. I will bump this thread periodically as I need material.

I really love the stuff but it is not for me. I recently ran into a lady who I've coached against (girls softball) and hadn't seen in a few years. She asked what I had been up to and I pulled a Hyacinth Jasper heart out of my pocket. She loved it and asked if I could make them for her team as their color is purple. I told her I would look into getting the material but all I have ever had was a small slab at a time. I told her she would only have to cover the material. She is my favorite coach I have ever gone against- probably every bit as competitive as I was during the game, but never lost sight that we were there to give the girls a positive experience. Before and after the game we'd talk like old buddies, but during the game.....................it was "game on". Anyway, I'd really like to be able to do this if at all possible.

Sounds like a wonderful idea and one they would love!
Unfortunately, the people I reached out to couldn't remember who he was either. If I think of it, I'll let you know

Hyacinth Jasper mine is owned by McKay Anderson you can find him on Facebook. He was at Quartzite.
Also, I cut and sell slabs. Probably could fill your request, depending on materials and your budget.

I will definitely keep you in mind for slabs in the future (have four boxes in the works presently), thanks for that as well.
