My dad bought this rock at an antique shop in Alamosa. We’re pretty sure it’s poppy agate but we’re wondering about a locality and I’m gonna tumble some peace’s that I cut if anyone has any advice on that.

Hey prester! Welcome to the forum! I'm pretty sure that is some leapord skin jasper/ryolite.

Yeah, definitely leopardskin jasper which is actually a rhyolite.

That looks to be a really nice and solid piece of (already mentioned) Leopard Skin. I bet that is going to polish up SUPER nice!!
