The front porch is vibrating/rumbling again!! Got 2 33b's running One has my first glass tumble...just an experiment. My m-i-l had a beautiful blue candle holder, so seeing what happens! Barrel two has stuff from City (Crater?) of Diamonds in Arkansas...gonna be a slow process getting through that 5 gallon bucket! I **believe** the other two lortone barrels are just my standard Lake Erie beach stones. The Lot-O is going too! Definitely Lake Erie Beach Stones! I took a little longer to get started than anticipated. Luckily I can back around JUST when Tommy started the Pro-Tips Thread. So I decided to get a tray for under my rotaries. Found a boot tray at Target that fits JUST RIGHT! So thanks for that tip! Additionally...I didn't keep very good notes of what everything was...so even though I have "the notebook" with notes, I didn't mark the stones when I cleaned everything up for shut-down....ANYWAY... Super happy to be back at it! Been WAY too long.

Congrats on getting back to rolling them rocks. I like the tray and I have to look into that myself since I've had three blowouts.

CLErocks Very nice setup! How long have you had those 33B's? I ask as someone else in this forum mentioned the washer that your barrel is rubbing against isn't replaceable. Instead, you need to have it rubbing against the washer near the motor as that washer has a screw and is replaceable. The opposite washer isn't replaceable as it has a rivet. Having the heaviest barrel near the motor will make the barrels walk toward the motor. Hope the helps.

nursetumbler! Thank you for the info. Remind me again what kind of tumbler(s) you have and how many? π I just have Harbor Freight dual 3# barrels. I have 3 doubles. I didn't want to spend a lot of extra money in case. My husband got me the first one for Christmas and the other two were gifted to me. Hard to find somewhere for 3 in a 40' Motorhome but now that it is nice I can tumble in the belly or in the 4x8 enclosed tag.

nursetumbler Wow, nice scores! I'm also impressed you had those running while I assume you were sleeping in said motorhome! I'd like to get more barrels or another 33B, but I only started my very first tumble yesterday. I'm mentally slowly myself down as I'm far from an impulsive buyer due to being a major tightwad (and proud of it!). However, my lifelong love for rocks has me all sorts of excited for this new hobby. Funny I only stumbled (or tumbled) into it at on older age. Better late than never. Enjoy all your tumblers!

Cackling ChickI am far from a spring chicken. Besides age is only a number. If you let it stereotype your actions and feelings then you feel the number. The idea behind mine was to preserve the rocks I find on assignment. As for the tumblers running while sleeping, yes we sleep in the Motorhome, only house I have when on assignment. Yeah they were but they were in front of the drivers seat on the floor on 1 end and our sleeping quarters were on the other with 2 pocket doors closed. Besides just like living next to a train track, once you get used to it you never hear it come through. There were times I had to get up from the couch 10' away and physically lay eyes on them because I couldn't tell if they were running and I am only partially deaf LOL π

Thatβs right about the age thing. In fact sometimes my wife still thinks Iβm a 10 yr old.

nursetumbler May I ask what you mean by assignment?! That's great you sleep through the white noises and your ear(s) help some. π Yup, age is just a number. I'm a pre-teen boy at heart, not a mid-50's woman. πππ»

Nope. I only use the rotary for the 60/90. Everything else I do in the Lot-O. CLErocks Also, do you have separate barrels for each stage? Asking as I'm a TOTAL NEWBIE!!

Good tip...my plan was to just yank it off and replace it with a machine screw or a small bolt if it wore out. But I'll look at that...also, the front one isn't running right. So I'm gonna have to pull it apart and check the belt. Running really S.L.O.W. I got the 1st 33b last summer for my anniversary....Don't exactly recall when I got the second. They were hard to come by for a while during the damn-demic.. CLErocks Very nice setup! How long have you had those 33B's?
