Well, I think you chose a worthy batch of stones, polished them beautifuly, and photographed them tastefully. Very attractive!
Now what are you going to do with them?

Dang Doug!! Those are outstanding!! You really did a great job on having the patience to get the best out of these in the first stages...and then the polish you got on these is fantastic! hello Jason, thanks so much. Did you notice the SD Prairie agates? Love the soft earth tones on them. I look forward to posting more photos in the future. I did see those! Prairie Agates really are an underrated tumbling material. It can take awhile...but boy does it shine!

Hello RWA3006, thanks for the compliments and THE great question, I'm glad you asked. Most of my rocks go into boxes, usually old cigar boxes that I line with fabric. The ones I really like I put on a small shelf for display. That's it. Wish you all the best. Doug

Whoa! Man you got some skills. Those rocks polished up really awesome. I love those Montana agates, and that Botswana agate is amazing - almost has a neon like shine! Thanks for sharing!

Hey Blockhead, thanks a bunch. I think these are the best I've done so far. Also, I buy a lot of my rocks because I don't have much variety where I live except for jaspers and they are mostly red, no agates. I still feel best when I tumble something I collected myself.

Hello starguy, thanks so much. #13 was given to me by a rock club member when I purchased rocks from him. It was much larger to begin with. I'll guess it is Brazilian agate.

Hey Doug dshanpnwPhoto 13 looks a lot like Kentucky agate. Just based on the colors. Kentucky agate is now pretty rare.
