Heck Yeah!! I've met up with several members who have come out this way...in fact, I'm meeting up with another one next week who's coming for 5 days. If you guys ever do decide to head out this way, let me know...I can guarantee you I can get you to the rocks...I just can't guarantee any keepers! LOL I’m sure there would be tons of keepers! I’m not a picky rock collector. Besides agates what do you guys have there? Well...Fairburns are the ultimate find...but then Prairie Agates are very abundant. Prairie Agates aren't really agates...they're either Jasper or Chert. Both polish amazingly well. There's various jaspers other than the Prairie Agates...plus lot of various fossils - mostly sea creatures. Also, there's Teepee Canyon Agates, but they're in a specific location.

jasoninsd well chert is one of my favorites! So I would be happy! and fossils! If you get a chance...you can peruse this thread and it'll show the kind of stuff I find out here. It's funny for me to go back through it and realize how much I DIDN'T know for rock identification when I first started all this! LOL forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/thread/92174/railroad-buttes-finds

jasoninsdThanks Jason! It is amazing how much we learn in so little time, especially if it’s something that catches our interest.
