Geez, Lee, that tire looks like shredded wheat! Hope that's the only thing that happens on your trip that's not a good thing. Stay safe!
ETA: Typo!

Lee, Rockoonz, ouch, on the tire! Trailer tires are always the worst. But look at it this way - you got it out of the way early. But wait, your trailer has three more tires. Oops, forget I said that! In all the trips with our trailer, we have never had more that one tire blow on us per trip, and none on most occasions, knock on wood! Have a great and safe trip, Lee.

Not entirely uneventful so far. I can't "like" this post Lee! As was stated...I too hope this is the "worst" of the trip! When I did the show this weekend, I had two guys next to me. They had a selection of rocks setup on the tail-gate of their truck. One was from Germany...and I believe the other was from Austria. One spoke English pretty well...the other one, I don't believe spoke English. Super nice guys. I gave my sunscreen lotion to the one, because he got so burned the first day. Anyway...they're on their way to Prineville. So...if any of you run into these two guys, tell them "hi" from their "neighbor" in South Dakota!

Tough start Rockoonz but it should get better as you get north. We are having a very cool and wet spring up here and the temps should be easier on the tires. Supposed to be 70 and showery on Friday and Saturday in Prineville. I am getting the camp trailer ready and looking forward to the trip. See you there...

As much as I don’t want to hear there will be rain, we desperately need it in prineville.

For the first time in years, the McKenzie valley has come out of drought. All of us are giddy that we may not have fires for the first time in recent memory. i hope it rains over there and ends or at least lessens the crazy drought you all have been dealing with. My camper is water-tight.

They were all the same vintage so I replaced all 4. The other on that side had some checking that looked pretty bad. Arizona sun rot. The rockchuck mineral gallery is a very nice stop at the intersection of 95 and 95A in Schurz NV, got some nice variscite and other stuff. catmandewe Tony mentioned it on Instagram so we stopped. So basically the only casualty today was my wallet.

You're not going to believe this. I thought I was getting heat exhaustion yesterday and went back to camp early, slept about 12 hours. Just in case, I used one of my covid home tests today and it came back positive. I feel good, like I'm past the worst of it, Elizabeth is about a day behind me on symptoms. I can host a rock swap out at the campground tonight, just drag the buckets out and sit far away. If it works you'll have to just come out, I have no phone out there.

I would say it was most likely a false positive, EXCEPT, your wife is having symptoms, too. Get better, Lee.

Hang in there, Lee. Hope you two get over it as easily as most folks are now.
Stand far away from the people - but stand close to some of the rocks and post a few photos. That's one of the shows we'd like to attend someday.

Sorry to hear aboute the Covid, Lee. Hope you and Elizabeth have mild symptoms and aren't bothered by it too much.
