Finally got some time to start stabbing some of the rough from the estate sale, here is some peanut obsidian. Next in the saw some flame agate.

Finally got some time to start stabbing some of the rough from the estate sale, here is some peanut obsidian. Next in the saw some flame agate. I can see what looks like fractures all over that piece...not dogging it...just wondering if that is going to be usable for cabs as it looks like an AMAZING piece of material!

It is actually very solid, they must be healed stress marks.

Got a little cut time in, was not sure what to make of this one, kind of a botroidial like rind. After the first cut, it looks like Dino bone.
