Jason, that square picture jasper is nice. And the broken looking gold stone is interesting - what's in the middle holding it together ?

Those are some very nice wraps. Wild horse is some beautiful stuff. I've cabber a little of it and really like the shine. I saw some at a show for sale and kind of screamed at the price though, and I haven't cabbed it since lol.

Jason, that square picture jasper is nice. And the broken looking gold stone is interesting - what's in the middle holding it together ? Patty Thanks Patty! That's actually not broken. It's a "flaw" in the goldstone "mixture" where there aren't any gold flakes...like it's "naked" stone! I saw that in the slab, and knew I had to make that the central part of the cab. LOve the polychrome jasper one. Unique design. Thanks James! I wasn't sure if I was going to like that one when I got it done...but the more I looked at it afterward, the more and more I liked it. That one took me quite awhile compared to some of the "regular" wraps... Those are some very nice wraps. Wild horse is some beautiful stuff. I've cabber a little of it and really like the shine. I saw some at a show for sale and kind of screamed at the price though, and I haven't cabbed it since lol. Thanks Perk! I've got a whole Ziploc bag of Wild Horse that needs to get worked. I too love it due to the shine! Niiiice! I love to see you do new things like with the prongs and beads. Cool! Thanks Tela! I had to push myself away from the table the other night and take a break. I started feeling like I wasn't enjoying wrapping...it wasn't fun. I think I encountered a momentary "burnout" from trying to get so many done in such a short time. So, I'm slowing back down for now. I'll have MORE than enough for the show...so I don't need to overdo it to the point of not enjoying it anymore. (Just had to vent! LOL)

I really love Prairie Agates...and I don't know why the heck I don't do more of them...they're quite abundant around here...so the cost is right! LOL Yeah...I thought that Goldstone piece was super cool!

Good one !

Thanks Patty! Okay...this might seem a little odd...but I see it as a "molten" river of material flowing through a surreal fairytale landscape in that one. LOL Thanks Ali! I'm not sure I have a "favorite" in this batch per se, but I'm liking the how the shields are turning out. I wasn't sure if I was going to like that shape when I first started wrapping it...but I'm liking them more and more with each one I wrap.

All of those are outstanding. Prairie Agates are under-rated for sure but very cool. I also like what you did with adding the beads and such at the bottom of the wrap. Glad you realized that you were getting burned out as that can definitely make a difference in the wraps, not that I've ever done so many that I experienced that.

I don't use a heckuva lot of beads in my wraps as I'm usually not creative enough to figure out how to use them so they don't look too gaudy...but once in awhile I gotta throw some into the mix for good measure. LOL

Holy mackerel, Jason! Beautiful pieces! Love the Prairie Agates and the Polychrome takes the cake! The Wild Horse is outstanding, too! Great job on all of them.

I was really on the fence about that Polychrome wrap...but I think I really do like it. I'll have that one displayed on one of my "dummy head" things (NO! Not me!! LOL). My mother keeps telling me she thinks that Wild Horse wrap is the best one I've done...I'm sure it's a "hint"...so if it doesn't sell at this show, I'll let her have it. Like she always tells me, I'll get all the wraps back she's taken...at some point! LOL (Yes...we laugh at our own demise...it's how we cope with it. )

I agree that the Polychrome is pretty awesome looking. I mean, they're all great, but I like the uniqueness of the wrap on that one. Really adds some dramatics to the look of that cab. I hear you on the burn out, I just started up my UV18 this week after (all my tumblers/vibes) being turned off for the last few months. I'm excited to pull the saw out and start slicing up some treasures too. I keep getting people asking me for cabs, slabs or whatever I can give them... I'll try to ramp it up slowly (that doesn't sound like me) and see how it goes.

That Polychrome is going to be one of 3 "central pieces" that I'll have displayed on those cut-off head display things. (They don't look bloody...just sayin'! LOL) - I'll post some pictures of the setup - definitely pics at the show, but I might do some pics of my "practice" setup next week sometime. I'm glad to hear you got the vibe up and going. Mine just started back up about a month ago to tumble Teepee Canyon Agate slabs. I think my wife will be glad when it's shut off again here in a few more days. Need to get that last batch through polish starting tomorrow. You've got some potentially nice looking pieces you two picked up on your trip...so I'm hoping to see some pics posted of the cuts (of the rocks...and nothing else! LOL)!
