I've been trying to get in a little bit of wrapping when I get home from work. This is my effort from tonight. I will patina it but I'll wait till I have a few more and do them all at once. I wish I knew what the material was but I don't have a clue.

Very nice! Your bindings are near perfect, the symmetry is great, and I especially like the way you handled the extra length of wires around your bail. It is amazing to me that you have perfected your skills in such a short period of time--overall great!

Great wrap! You really have a natural infinity for wrapping. I really like how you did the back, but if I may offer one suggestion: Consider filing or sanding the edges of those wires smooth before you make the loop. Reason being the rough edges of the wire could scratch bare skin or snag fabric of the person wearing it.

Another nice piece!! Wow! You took to this like a fish to water. Thankyou! Now I have to figure out weaving. Made an attempt last night and it was awful.

I imagine closing the ends up a little tighter would help also.

Nice wrap…I hope my next one comes out half as nice…btw how many wires did you start with?…Rocket Thanks! This one started with 4 square wires. Most of them I've been doing have 3. I got into some issues because the tutorial was for a square stone and this one is so narrow I ran out of room for some things.

With weaving, I have found that working with the long wires and trying not to work harden them was the hard part. It gets easier, though. I don't weave much because it hurts/cramps my hands.

Weaving is a little more tricky and time consuming. To manage the fine wire I will usually leave it on the spool if it came on one or use a kumihimo bobbin to control it. It really helps with preventing the 28 ga from getting tangled or kinked.
