I got the medicine bag from Walrus today and I took a pic. I'm also including a pic of the rocks all you folks have sent ( will take pics of the rest when they arrive ) Now, I don't know what all of them are, and can't remember who sent what, so ya'll sound off like ya got a pair and id your rocks This is as much fun as the "rock box" and its for a good cause. I salute you all! I'm gonna have to take more pics so if your rocks aren't in there, they will be! Thank you all! ________________________________________ Got the box of cabs from Kim today, and she added some beauties that she tumbled...Now, I wouldn't want to get sick or anything to get this kind of pretty stuff, but man if this don't make him feel better, nothing will!

I'm not gonna try and tumble anything thats not tumbled....my barrels are full and to be honest I want to get this to him. I'm afraid to wait the time it would take to do a batch...He's really ill. So, the ones that are already done are done and the rough ones will just stay rough.

Sands, this bag is for my boss's 35 year old son. He has thyroid cancer ( I thought it was pancreatic) and is not doing too well. The cancer has spread to other lympth nodes and its the type cancer that radiation and chemo don't help. Well not entirely true, radiation does, but he's highly sensitive to it and it made all his teeth rot and the bones in his face disintergrate. Anyway, he's just had surgery and isn't doing so well right now.
I've never met the young man in person, but his mother is like a mother to me so that makes him the brother of my heart if that makes sense.

xena,, thyroid, oh nuts thats what ive been going thru. my sympathy is even greater now. the radiation sucks and if he doesnt respond well thats all the worse.
top row should be aventurine and black tourmaline next row amythest, quartz, moonstone, yellow jasper, quartz third row pale amythest, sugalite, sphere of gold rutilated quartz, rainbow jasper, red jasper last 3 black amythest, smoky quartz, and an agate of sorts (mexican lace perhaps)

Well I hope you don't place it on his chest and just leave!! That could be trouble. Maybe you could make up some sort of little showplace thingy to hold the bag and the extra rocks.

Joe I'm gonna hire a big strong he man type to haul it around for him Lets put it this way, he's gonna have stuff he can rub, have wrapped, use as a paper weight or whatever else he can think of. I'm so excited to give this to him. His mom, my boss, lost her job in the casino buy out so I hope that he shares with her to make he feel better.

Xena, didn't mine get there yet? It's not much, only a couple pieces so won't take up much room. I suppose with the Christmas rush going on. Didn't someone mention in another post that it's not good to put too many different kinds of rocks in the same bag?
