Have made cabs from this material before by the name escapes me. This is actually a piece of countertop but same as I had gotten in rough.

Yes, larkavite. Have a big slab of it by the side of the house. Someone had some posted the other day on another rock board calling it pietersite and claiming it was from Africa.

If I put in the work though, someone better be wearing it as a belt buckle though. So, about 65 - 70 lbs? More? Someone's going to need to get in shape to wear it as a belt buckle. ETA - After some quick figuring, I believe it would weigh quite a bit more than that.
