So...I had someone come over to the house to check out my wraps. I knew they had cash, so I was like, "C'mon over!". LOL. She ended up taking three wrapped pieces and commissioned me to wrap another 11 cabs that she picked out of my finished cabs box. She said there was no rush on them...but I wanted to get them done...so I took a couple days and got 'em done. As always, thanks for taking a gander. Gary Green, Larsonite, or Freedom Jasper - depending on what you want to call it... Chevron Amethyst - Really HIGH dome on this one!! Badlands Plate Chalcedony Kambaba Jasper Clear Creek Plasma Agate Graveyard Point Plume Agate - This cab has been done for a long time Dave! LOL Moroccan Jasper Copper Complex Bloodstone Marcasite Plume Agate Deschutes Picture Jasper - This one was a BEAR! I've never wrapped anything like this one. It's a REALLY small cab. I had to use the bail wire to secure the top of the cab into the wrap as I didn't want any other tabs or any other wires across the face of the cab. The swirls on the side of the bail are even...they just looked skewed in the picture. It was a fun one...and I'm glad I got this one figure out!

How is your poor finger?
More outstanding work! I love what you did with the last one.

More outstanding work! I love what you did with the last one. It freakin' hurts! LOL Thanks Tela! That last one had me stumped for awhile. I'm super stoked how it turned out! The wrapping is really weird with my finger. The spot where it was cut is super sensitive (as in painful if it gets touched). The area above the cut, I don't have feeling in about a third of the tip. Oddly...when I wire-wrap, I use those two spots A LOT when I'm wrapping! LOL

Nice! I'm really digging the last one and the Bloodstone. Very cool that she picked out one of those plate chalcedony cabs!

jasoninsdWow Jason those all turned out super nice! Really like the amethyst, chalcedony, bloodstone, copper, and picture jasper. They are all so pretty. The chalcedony looks nice wrapped. Simple yet elegant.

Great job on on all of them. Thank you so much James! Nice! I'm really digging the last one and the Bloodstone. Very cool that she picked out one of those plate chalcedony cabs! Thanks Robin! That last one looks the "simplest" of all of them...but I thought it was the most difficult one to do! It's small...the two inside swoops on the sides...and the narrow point at the top all limited what I thought I could do with this one. jasoninsd Wow Jason those all turned out super nice! Really like the amethyst, chalcedony, bloodstone, copper, and picture jasper. They are all so pretty. The chalcedony looks nice wrapped. Simple yet elegant. Thanks Ashley! I have never wrapped a cab with a dome as high as that Amethyst has. Along with the Deschutes, this one had me concerned as to how the wrap would or wouldn't work. I finally opted for those larger circular tabs that I knew would bend over just enough of the dome where I thought it would keep it secure.

I hope you charged enough for them, and she hasn’t opened up some Etsy shop where she’s making a killing on this great work! Hey… you never know.

Congrats on a BIG sale !
14 at one time- wow.
They are all nice, but that small picture jasper takes the cake.
I wondered if wrapping one like that was possible.
Looks good.

Have you gone back to the dr about nerve damage?

I do know these were all for her to wear...at some point! LOL Even is someone were to do that...it would only help my sales. I got the amount I wanted out of them...so I wouldn't really have any reason to complain if someone did do that...but in this case, I know they're not. I like them all. The bloodstone stands out to me. Thanks Beth! That was the very last piece I wrapped. I kept going back and forth in my head whether to use copper or silver. I think either one would have worked... Congrats on a BIG sale !

Thanks Patty! Yeah...I knew she was going to pick up a couple...but I wasn't expecting that high number! I mulled around with the "how" on that Deschutes for two days! I kept struggling with how the heck I was going to keep that top section secure. It wasn't until I had the wires shaped around the whole thing that it dawned on me to bring the bail wire down over the "tip" to secure it. It freakin' hurts! LOL Thanks Tela! Sorry to hear that Tela! It sucks when you need your hands to do intricate work...and they don't seem to want to cooperate. I'm super grateful I still have all ten fingers...so the pain just reminds me I'm still alive! Doctor?? Going to the doctor to get the stitches was the first time I'd been to the doctor in about a decade...minus the emergency gall bladder surgery two years ago. I figure I have another 9 and a half years before I need to go see a doctor again. I'm not a fan of doctors. I think they "guess" the vast majority of the time with their treatment plans. I don't see the sense in paying a ton of money to someone for them to prescribe something (whether physical "therapy" of some kind or meds) that "may or may not" work. I figure the feeling is either going to come back at some point...or it's not. Either way, I'll learn to deal with it.

I think I might have had my heart in my hand when she picked that one, knowing you HAD to figure out how to wrap it
Nothing like pressure to get the juices flowing.

Don't get me wrong...I'm always asking my wife if she wants to play doctor! Apparently she has the same view of doctors that I do...because she's always saying, "NO!" Thank you so much! I actually asked her "You sure you want that one?" , trying to "dissuade" her - as I was thinking "CRAP" to myself! LOL - I knew I was going to have to figure it out at some point...I just didn't know it was going to be this soon! LOL

Wow Jason, that's a lot of seriously nice work! I can't imagine having that many sales! Thank you so very much! It was one of those days where I kind of hit the "lottery" with having the right person, with the right amount of disposable income, show up at the right time.
