My wife and I hope to do more Rockhounding here in the Willamette valley and also the coast. Occasionally we will go to eastern Oregon. We have a small hobby farm near Corvallis and hope to set up some lapidary equipment in the shop here on the farm. Tumbling, cutting , polishing etc.. Hello to everyone else.

Welcome from AZ, formerly from Vancouver WA. Willamette Agate club is fairly close to you in Salem, if you join they have a lapidary shop for members, a good place to try before you buy to determine what kind of tools and equipment you work better with. They also have some top notch teachers and field trips.

Welcome from the McKenzie River! You are just a couple hours away! My wife and I had a small organic strawberry farm for years but have been busy building our retirement home for a couple of years now. She was talking last night about getting back into it when we finish the house. (I might just want to play with my rocks)
