Well, today was changeout day for the twelve pound tumbler. I had posted pics of this rough earlier so I thought I'd post a few pics of the lot's progress. All are wet. Pic#1 is the Firefly jasper. Pic#2 is a closeup of a couple of my favorites. This stuff is turning out to be one of my favorite jaspers. Wild colors and each hunk is different. Think I'll brave the thistle patch pretty soon and get some more. Pic#3 is some of Gary Hardy's Flint Ridge Flint. Man, I love this stuff too! Pic#4 is brecciated jasper form the newest site I've found. Virtually a mountain of this and this is not the best as I had no chisels and could only pick up a little float. Most is pretty much fracture and pit free. Thanks for looking....mel

Pics 1 and 2 are really weird in a beautiful way. They're the same, but different at the same time. The reddish color is almost like seeing a fire at night. I'd like to see more pictures of those when they are ready.
