It is learning how to use these modern cameras that is the challenge Ashley. Camera icon language is difficult at best and there are so many inner-dependant settings on these modern cameras !

This camera was designed at least 7 years ago Robin. Probably a decade ago. Like old technology... Guessing they have way improved on digital zoom since. It's like a handheld telescope.

Very nice James. Bugs look like the ones from the movie "Honey I Shrunk The Kids".

Very nice James. Bugs look like the ones from the movie "Honey I Shrunk The Kids". Lol, let's not hope for giant dragonflies ! Too dastardly of a critter to be large. I was impressed with that digital zoom feature. I think you use digital zoom for your moon shots.

I do use the digital zoom for the moon shots but still find that camera a little lacking for those long-off shots.

I do use the digital zoom for the moon shots but still find that camera a little lacking for those long-off shots. The right tool for the job is a telescope. One day they may master a camera to to as well as a telescope.
