Yes I finally got to visit the wholesalers today and I went stupid (this is good) and I spent loads of money and got over 150kg of rough. I have placed a garden spade at the top right of the picture so you can see how much space it takes up.

LOL this should have been in the Holy Crap post hahahaha that's just amazing Chris. Are those all in little blue boxes? I see lots of blue, greens and pinks, some of my favorite colors. Good thing I dont' have one of those places close to me. Congrats, that's an awesome collection.

Hi Cher
Yes they are in blue boxes, the guy who spent about two and a half hours with me said he pre boxes them when he gets chance that way they can stack them on shelving but they also have them in plastic bins where you pick your own rocks out, I just figured it was easier to get the boxed ones as I was a bit pushed for time.
There is all sorts in there Cher I will take some photos tomorrow and list them all here. I like the two big chunks of rose quartz at the front, I am going to turn them into electric lamps.

Debs, candy store doesnt even come close, I got shown their yard as well and it was full of massive wood bins full of rocks, the bins were about 4 foot square and some were even stacked on each other (if I only had a crane)
By the way the black tubes at the bottom left are gem kalidoscopes, I figured the kids would like them.

WOW are you opening your own SHOP? Man that's a lot-o-rock! Loved the rose quartz and the natural geode- not crazy about the died ones (but the do make for cool windchimes when sliced up!) but all them blue boxes- too cool- like a pre boxed batch for the tumbler- add one box- grit and go!

how in the heck did you get that all home??? that is just a great shopping trip!! who said men hate shopping? KD Got it all home in my Honda Civic, there is around 150+ kilos and then there was me and 2 grown up kids and their luggage. The car wasnt as fast at accellerating as normal (not sure why ;D ) but it still managed 90mph easily until I noticed I was speeding and slowed down. There wasnt enought room in the boot of the car so 3/4 of the back seat was taken up as well as the floor, the eldest complained a bit about being cramped.. lol Jack you have a good one as well, and everyone else as well. Oh I even bought the wife a clock made from an agate slice as a present, not a bad return considering what I got dont you think.
