Was cutting some small tidbits of material the other day and came across a duck and a bear hiding inside the rocks. Thought they were pretty neat so just wanted to share them. The duck The bear (or dog) THanks for looking!

I can see both of them. I love when pictures turn up in slabs. The second one definitely looks like a bear to me!

I can see both of them. I love when pictures turn up in slabs. The second one definitely looks like a bear to me! Finding pictures in slabs is one of my favorite aspects of the hobby. I sometimes think about just how lucky the cuts have to be to turn up recognizable pictures in rocks. Just a hair more or less taken off the cut and would never even know it was hiding inside lol.

The only problem is when you find things in the slab, it's hard to sometimes cut them up.
My husband Tom seems to find scenes in patterned slabs, and then I often set that one
back in the bin so I don't cut it in half.
Patty... who likes the coloring in the bears face.

These are sweet! Well, that duck is sweet. It's really cool to see pictures in hidden places like this!

On the second one it first looked like a surprised bull to me. Took a few seconds to see the bear.
