As you can probably tell, a lot of those were extremely time consuming. I had to charge a lot for them, so they sold slower. Some of them were just not practical to do from a retail perspective.

I get it.
Truth be told , for me anyway, I never actually could charge the actual time any piece takes me to make it.
It's a nice idea and all - I guess I'm just lucky that jewelry is a hobby to me, and only a sometimes sale is a way to support my hobby sometimes.
I love the articles about adding together time + materials + overhead (rent, electric, etc) + PROFIT. I can't even do that with our regular full time business and have any customer pay what it would actually add up to.
I have always had a suspicion that a lot of small time jewelers have other means of income, or trust funds, OR husbands that work !
I've come to, that it's something I enjoy doing so worth the time and effort.
And obviously you must feel similarly, since you've kept at it a long time & your skill shows.
Thanks for posting the earrings - I won't even begin to choose a favorite.
All have lots of merit & all are dripping with nice ideas to feed my brain.

HOLY CRAP!!! Tela, it's threads like this one that just makes me feel SO inadequate! The diversity in each and every design is awe-inspiring to me. Each and every one is a piece of art...they truly are!

OK, when is your coffee table book coming out, Tela? Such artistry! Seriously, I think that a book of your photos, whether simply your gorgeous creations or with some design instruction, would fly off of the online shelves. All the wrappers would want it — and even non-wrappers like me...
PS, how are your sales at the charity doing?

Just beautiful! How do you do this (maybe with 2 pair of tweezers and a mini-robot)? Thanks for posting! You must have very good dexterity.

My DH works. But, I did try to always make a profit. As much for me as for the art of wire wrapping. I hate to peruse Etsy and see beautiful, intricate wraps going for 35.00. It decreases the value of all of our work!
I do it for the love of it, I sell for the necessity of it. LOL! I NEED to buy more rocks and supplies.

Each and every one is a piece of art...they truly are! Thank you, Jason!! I didn't include any of my gemstone bead jewelry. I never took pictures. I give them out to family and friends. Some of them were really pretty. These represent more wire wrapped earrings. I don't make a lot for a lot of reasons.

Oh my goodness! Thank you so much!
Maybe one day when I get old.... I'll put together a coffee table book. Having done an eBook already, I know they are a LOT of work. I have friends who have been published and I even wrote a forward for one. I'm not in a hurry to write another or edit the one I've done.
Thank you for asking about the charity. It seems that one lady was all hellfire to do it, but her boss wasn't. I think they didn't quite know what to do with them all. They haven't asked for more. It is a huge disappointment for me. Frankly, they seemed very disorganized and rude. Too bad.

Yes, I suppose my dexterity and hand to eye coordination must be pretty good, but, more importantly, I think I have a discerning eye for distances and balance. I consider it a gift from the Almighty and I don't claim credit for gifts.
