I dug this out of my garden about 3 months ago, just before surgery. It was about 3 inches down in the soil..... IMG_4202 by Findrocks, on Flickr Seriously though, it must have fallen un-noticed off of one of the cleaning screen frames and got buried under leaves and dirt from one of my Compost Piles. I estimate that it's from 2019 Oct dig and was in the ground for a couple years. It is glass clear in the top 1 1/2 inches.

Geeezz' HankRocks , the only thing I turn up in my garden from pretty deep sometimes, is rusty metal. Although I did find a live turtle there once , but she's a totally different story.
Nice find,
Patty

Nice "find" Henry! If there's a chance I'm going to find something like that, I'm gonna start diggin' up my wife's flower garden tomorrow! LOL
(I better make it a deep dig...as she'd just bury me in it afterward! LOL)
