I finally got some silver wire to groove wrap my double domed charoite.
I did stabilize it first with some thinned epoxy & that seemed to work pretty good to keep it from de-laminating
I wanted to keep any wrap simple, as obviously the stone is the feature here, so I groove wrapped it.
Next up is my "yin & yang" asymmetrical Picture Jasper.
It just needed to be offset to work for my taste.
Not perfect by any means , but it was fun When I look at the close up photos it makes me realize how GOOD other people's wraps are - but I'm getting there -

I like the charoite a lot, but the yin yang came out really good, too. Don't underestimate yourself. It came out nice. |

They both came out great! Love the Charoite because - purple! I love me some purple. The Ying-Yang is really nice, too. You're getting there quick, Patty.  |

Ya know I had a time getting that silver wire to lay down in that inside curve.
I finally convinced it with my wooden bezel pusher !
Have to look up vanadium ..... but I think it's soft, as my first google search said it was "malleable", and these crystals are quite hard.

I love the charoite too, the color & pattern in it is fantastic.
Now I need to see about earrings to match.
