I was cutting up some small gravel and pet wood pieces the other day and came across this piece with cool little surprise inside. Anyways without further ado. I just thought it was pretty neat how well the details of the wood were preserved during petrification process. THanks for taking a look!

How cool, a little window into it's soul.
I wonder if you could polish the face , without disturbing the window & keep it as a specimen.

Thank you. It would definitely look much nicer without all the saw marks. Il give it a go at some point lol

That's pretty incredible! I think I would leave it frosty for the contrast. It really pops! Very cool.

That is REALLY amazing!! If mine, I'm not sure I would do anything other than leave it "as is" at this point. Really, really cool!!
