Anyone have any old book sources they like for wire wrapping. I found an oldie called gold wire wrapping it's from 68 and if there's interest I'll post it.

I'd love to see it!
I really like Moods in Wire by Ed Sinclaire.

It's a couple of years old, but a large book (almost 300 pages) and wonder if it's worth acquiring ??

Patty I've seen some of videos. I like his work, but can't speak to his book.

Thanks Tela, rockjunquie
I don't do good with videos - we have satellite internet & the bandwidth just makes most videos annoying.
Have to decide on the book, from what I saw he does a variety of techniques.
Just a little more $$ than I wished

Yes, I did. But it's not really a project book. It's more about design, I think.

I used to have the book, I think--I don't remember it being this long, and I gave it away so I can't double check. If it's the same one, I found it somewhat helpful when I was first starting out. He emphasized security of the stone, which is helpful, but I no longer use his "techniques" and didn't find it really inspiring. It was helpful as a nuts and bolts starter.

Thanks Robin hummingbirdstones, I usually look for used books- but in this case when you add the shipping into the used price you have a choice of $4 savings & wait weeks to get it or prime shipping. So .......
Thanks susand24224, that's just the review I was wishing on to tell me if it was worth buying. I'll think about it , but probably not.
Thanks for the input,
Patty

Well then, definitely not worth it. Check your library to see if they have it or can get it on an exchange program. That way you can check it out and then bring it back without spending any $$ (except gas, of course).
