Edog - xbox aside,
I wish I had some strange and wise words to offer you, unfortunately I feel that this is your business and only you know how to address it.
I offer you my thoughts - and indeed I have thought a lot about your post here. You have made an impact.
Mark.

Edog - Im tHeDeNtIst (standalone tho - not online) - I like to mend peoples teeth - LOL - if you get my drift, I also offer PAIN - but of course like any good dentist, you as my patient will have to Pay for it Im fully aware of the laughs and comedies that can happen in online gaming - I spent a whole year doing almost nothing but that around 2004/2005 and we all did some serious laughing and gameplay. You know what Edog - you are seriously tempting me to plug my 360 into my router....... Oh shit will I EVER EVER DO ANY WORK? ?

Edog - Im playing the main game on Halo 3 on the 360 at the moment - I think im near the end now. Only about 6 hours though. Dont do the online thing anymore (used to but I need to work and Unreal Tournament on PC took too much time from me ) I also think "Oblivion" is a great game to chill out with - however set aside around 200 hours for that one. Completed "Comand and Conquer - Tiberian Wars" - good graphics - low on tactics/strategy tho - still enjoyed it. Completed "Call of Duty 3" - good game - some excellent missions but I wanted more by the end of it. Playing "Blazing Angels" - great flying game - some stunning defensive missions in a spitfire over london. Looking out for a space game coming soon - brother told me about it but cant remember the name - supposed to be MASSIVE going to loads of planets with missions on each etc. I think I didnt have a 360 - I would buy one just so I could play Halo 3. Adrian - we lost (uk that is) to SA. Good we lost - just keeping up our track record as losers in sport as far as I can see.

Edog - I think the thing most people dont appreciate is the fact they are spinning around a star. Stars are big shit. And a bit of variation in temperature here and there when one deals with a star is - well - insignificant. Were in close proximity to a star - and putting it bluntly - this star doesnt give a shit if its 1000 degrees hotter here today than it was yesterday. Well - us people heating the planet up? Not much - and certainly not as much as our local star can do and is doing. Well - I read what you believe thats smooooooooooooth. I believe that living close to a star is a bit like living on a knifes edge - to say the least. Stars look nice in the sky - but they really are not nice at all - not to us humans - a star would kill us all it if could - and in fact as we all know - it will. Not wanting to be a whiner or anything - but the sun will kill us unless we get off the rock.

Earthdog, Youre only here once and it goes pretty (very) quick. The more I look at what I just wrote - the more I realise its true. (but I have to look at it 10 times before it sinks in totally). I must be a depressing ass - but take a trip down to a graveyard (i did it yesterday as it was my fatherinlaws 2 year anniversary) - READ THE NAMES over and over. Then - then - then - once in a while a kind of quiet comes about, and thoughts start popping in.... Life is just a strange illusion - a good one granted - but nontheless a strange illusion. I seem to be struggling to find the colour over here at the moment, but I got this shot today which contains an autumn haze. The problem ive identified round here is that so many of the trees are evergreens like pines. So if i wanted some serious colour I have to stop in the high street and shoot the local chestnut tree (a bit embarrasing standing there with a camera whilst the shoppers mill round!!!) Heres my fav from today. Cheers Mark

Nice pic Rocky - did you use a zoom lens or were you able to get close up for the photo?
How are you going to get around the babies now they are at your front door without scaring the parents off?
tricky one.

He hand sculpts everthing to do a "master" - then he hand moulds to make more. Then they are hand painted. He does do one offs. These though are his range I suppose. So one could say that the end products are not hand sculpted. If it were the case - each one would cost about £300 probably due to time. Nothing is *mass* produced though. I will question him about his wording. Thanks Mark Hey Mark...it states on website, they are hand sculpted. Are these mass produced or one of a kind? (I'm thinking, not one of a kind as pricing is very affordable)

Now Im fairly certain he hasnt done this with his work which he has sold sofar. (certificate). He could even do these on his PC and test the waters. I think it is that which gives his products an edge over the china stuff. Another piece of info to pass on Thanks. I was going to suggest the same thing, try Ebay! Yes, there is a lot of competition between original works of art vs. reproductions from China, etc. He could come up with a certificate of authenticity that would come with each piece he sells. Americans love their doggies and collectibles, so I'm sure it would go over well here!

I think hes done ebay - but im not sure if the costs were too great for individual postage of such items. I think he needs outlets really - but I may be wrong - will pass it on. Thanks. I think they would be a major hit here in the US. People who love dogs seem to love sculpts of dogs almost as much as the real thing. And his work is beautifully done. Perhaps as a way of testing the waters here on this side of the pond, he might want to post a few for sale on the American eBay site. I think they will sell rapidly and for a great final bid. Thanks for giving us a peek at your friend's little Works of Art. I love them and think others over here will, too. (They get three "Bow-Wows!" from the real Lady Bea Bea! ) Lady B
