Herm I will pass those links on to him and see if he can relate to any of the info there - cheers. Those are darling and, as there are many many dog fanciers in the US I'm sure there's a market. If it were me, besides going the normal route I'd also contact the American Kennel club which publishes a number of magazines: www.akc.org/pubs/index.cfm From my old days as a journalist I know that feature stories are always being looked for. I also found this. www.sculpture.org/documents/organiza/organize.shtmljust some ideas.

Yeah - my friend is in a similar boat - cant even get the raw materials now (resins) over here. I think hes thought of that - but is a bit daunted. Mark I have a friend that is a sculptor. He does Southwest stuff. He is very good at what he does. He used to take his work to shows in AZ and make a good living, but not any more. The cheap China reproductions have just ruined original work. Instead of starving, he joined the crowd and is sending his originals to China, they make repros and send them all over the world. He gets a commission. Your friend may want to consider this. Curt

All, This is my friends domain www.peakdalesculptures.co.ukHe is a scupltor (the items there are all his own work). My question is, are items like these wanted by people in the US? Is there potential for him to market his products in the US therefore? Are there any magazines and outlets people know of who it may be worth contacting? Im asking because obviously over here its more difficult for him to gauge whether such products are in any kind of demand without being actually there. Whilst hes got some contacts there - they are limited and I thought you guys would be able to answer the questions. Cheers Mark

Hi Rose - make sure you get a tumbler in when youve got time etc.
I'm in a similar "non tumbling" situation at the moment - too much going on etc.
Good to hear from you - glad things are going well.
Cheers Mark

Apparently I turn over in my sleep about 10 times per night. Thats about it - oh apart from climbing the stairs to get to the bed in the first place. I think i'd better improve this situation. Mark

Sands,
Well I trust in something - im not sure what it is - but something is out there, and its a LOT bigger than us here. It or what made us.
I dont know what it is ---- and i dont know what what is ---- but theres something out there beyond this bunch of galaxies and space........ and its bigger than anything we know - and the proof is already there because the proof is lying asleep already in the mess we know nothing about.
We know about spacetime, we know about the bigbang, and still - bugger me with a pitchfork - we still dont know what comes after we die.
Im all for a bit of blackness with absolute ZERO comprehension of anything - just

Hmmm - I saw it, and I didnt press it. I'm not a prude by a long shot - but shoving the word "FART" in large chars at the top of the pages - well - I thought it was distasteful. I have no idea who the advertiser was. I could find out - but then again - who would put so much effort into chasing down a FART? NOT ME

Condor - I hope they do well and they have my prayers for sure. It takes a certain kind of person to ride a shuttle I guess - High intelligence - and tonnes of balls for sure.
Its people like that guy we should all be proud of - I am now and I dont even know him.
Any astronaut is a top person - absolute and total. End of story and no doubt about it. Going into space is the toughest thing we can ever do and we have to do it.
