Steph - hes going to get better - tough times there certainly, thats going through the mill as it were.
Hey let him know there are folks out here who appreciate that pain and actually feel for him. I hope it doesnt take too long to recover.
Those must be very painful injuries - I wouldnt wish that pain on anyone. Mark.

Debs Im glad your surgery worked out - my aunt had the same and she said she never "looked back" - kind of an appropriate thing to say.
Of course I cant comment much more as you are the one with the experience - it must be fantastic.
Great news for you Debs. I DO like to hear stories where people pull through stuff. Thanks for sharing. Mark.

Thats awesome I just loaded it in IE and its working now and i am seeing the following image........... How come canada cant see us tho? I'd have thought that the land mass would surely harbour some rock lovers there by the same number of folk from the States? (I know that there arent that many of us over here in the UK but with Canada being so large it looks disproportionate but maybe Ive done something wrong on the site and need to open up by country? Off for a poke around and see whats what.). Great site that.

what will we do when you (stoner and stephan) get the title of "Goddess of the Rockers"? LOL - I cant see that going down to well. The board cant differenciate - so maybe the title will have to become more generic? Maybe "Rocking Rulers" - a comp when the time comes me thinks.

Lori - google reads the words on the webpage and places ads on there which are relevan to the words on the page. As this is about tiles - it matches with advertisers "tiling related" ads. If you look around at various websites with "ads by them" on the site - youll see how they match topically. Its how g dominates the internet and makes it look a mess. It's funny. All of a sudden the ads in the banner are for floor tile and grout cleaning. ;D Lori

Desert that is absolutely amazing - I will know who to ask now when I need some tips. I bet that was a nightmare - choosing the "next tile" to go down - having to root through what? Did you have a massive pile of tiles somewhere near and have to dig through them till you found the right one?
Storming floor.
Grouting - did you grout with a float or did you have to trowel all that lot in bit by bit?

"By the way, hows Luke and Debs doing?" Fine Cher - I think Debs is thoroughly enjoying her 12 months off work - about 5 months left. Luke - eating all sorts of stuff now - having to give up some of my steak gravy for him!! - (He aint having my pork scratchins tho "Are you using a WF by chance" Beefjello - sorry to ask but whats a WF? "Clean lines man, what color grout are you going with? I like the inlay." Baz it is white grout - I do as the customer asks. Done it and it looks good and clean. "nonsanded grout" Desertdweller - I choose the grout based on the thickness of the spacers - these are 2mm (tiles are slightly round edged to the face) - so I think sanded would have been available but the criteria is based on the shower area really - Waterproof - Antibacterial - flexible (I drylined one wall) - so I used BAL Flexi. "Did you cut the square holes for the accent tiles?" ParfiveRich - no - they are cut with a waterjet and purchased like that. Various types of tiles are available with the corresponding pre-cut pieces - makes my job easier for certain. "Can't say I've seen the chrome corner 'moulding' over here, usually just bullnose tile on the edges." These days tiles arent generally glazed down the edges - so you can see the ceramic instead of the white in this case. So edging trims like this are commonplace now. These are steel and chromed - easy to keep straight - sometimes they are plastic and are flexible so it makes it hard to fix them straight. In summary - cheers all - I think i'll carry on tiling. The floor is porcealin - REALLY HARD and im having trouble cutting it with my Rubi - so getting the shop to cut these before I choose a new wetsaw and mount. Thing about that is - I couldnt get it in this bathroom - too big!!!! Cheers again.

Hey, Ive been tiling a couple of jobs - and I wondered if you guys thought this was nice or not. I havent done the grout yet - but the mitres are smooth and the wall is round ;D - Kind of bowed out - if you know what I mean. Tiling is like an art in its own right - no lips, smmmooooth grout. Hmm Im waffling but theres some nice trims in chrome round the window. Shit will someone say its nice so I might carry out my new career in tiling instead of giving up (cos its shit hard dirty work for certain) Mark

Ha - Stephan that isnt allowed - you are only allowed to "splodge" Goog!!! Cher has it right by sending in the poopers to goog. Space gold there is a button that says "go" at the top - you might have to click on it to start it up.

Cher I use firefox - my reason was because IE was always crashing - I tried everything to correct the problems but to no avail - loaded firefox and havent looked back since.
Also - I reviewed the new IE (7?) - didnt like the layout at all so its looking like firefox for the future.
