Lapis is one of my favorites! That looks like some of the denim grade. Chili has lapis also but theirs seems to be much lighter in color. I like the deeper bright blues that you get from the Afghanistan stuff. Fran

Man Tony, you have a great group here! How did that Chariote work up for you? It really shines but I have heard it is difficult. Your bumblebee looks wonderful! I have some preforms i have not worked yet. I suspect i will have to fill them like you did. Fran

Rockshed got be started too! I really love the variety you have here! The second thing I tumbled was a very nice batch of OJ. I did not know at that time that the softer areas could pit and come out. Seems I tumbled that stuff for 4-5 months trying to get it completely smooth before tossing it out. It was good material too. I just overdid it....a lot! Fran

They are both Beautiful. I used to think of the old saying "solid as a rock" and realized while cutting rocks, very few go without flaws. Just the nature of the beast. Stabilize and enjoy or leave them with the pits. I rarely use polish and just go with finer and finer diamond to get a good shine. Doesn't show the pits as much. Fran
