What a shock and worry! I am glad you had something to do while waiting for any word. That is a beautiful wrap and I will keep your granddaughter in my prayers for a speedy recovery! Fran

What a neat looking material. Tough choice on the earrings. Both look good but I am leaning towards the shape and colors in the one on the right. Fran

The first thought I had was an odd coral of some sort that has a lot of mineral replacements but it is really hard to say. I think it looks neat, what ever it is! Fran

You are really moving along well and getting some great results! You have some hard materials and they are always a challenge with scratches but well worth the effort when you get results like this! Great job! Fran

I know how heartbreaking that can be! Just grind it down and get it going again. It is too beautiful to set aside for long. Fran

the first picture really looks like there is some schiller or flash to it. Not sure of the hardness but it could be amazonite if there is flash, mixed with other minerals causing the red or it could also be some chrysocola. Nice looking piece. The quartz looks cool. I suspect it will make some nice cabs. I had some hematoid quartz that looked similar. Fran

You have got some beautiful cuts there Donnie! I think that blade looks fine. If it starts giving you problems, may want to cut some obsidian or a fire brick to get rid of glazing and it should cut fine for a while till you need to do it again. Fran

Looking good! Love them both! I have heard that saraphinite is hard to cab because it splinters so badly, What do you think of the material? I haven't tried any yet and wonder if I should even attempt. Fran
