I took these to 14k mesh and then 50k mesh diamond and then hit a selected few with zam. I kinda rushed them, mainly because my arm was falling off. Only two casualties. Unfortunately, the Jade broke several times and I ended up doing just a small sliver, and the cubist face lost a small chunk off of its face between the14k and 50k diamond polishes. Daniel, I hope I did these justice, of course, now in the pics I see things I'd like to take them back to change. Maybe once my arm recovers, LOL. Okay, here they are, I'm showing the slabs with them for comparison purposes. 1st slab: and the cabs, I did get a light shine on these but it took some work: 2nd slab, the Chrys and Hematite: and the cabs, got a light shine with the zam: 3rd slab: and the cabs, the first one is the cubist face, the chunk came out of the upper right quadrant: 4th slab: and the cab (a cabojohn), this worked up just like Kambaba: 5th slab, the Birdseye Serpentine: and the cabs, I was pleased with the shine on these: 6th slab, the Jade: and the cab: 7th slab, the Fancy Bloodstone: and the cabs: 8th slab, my favorite, African Verdite: and the cabs: Thanks fer looking, and may you all hit green lights, your lawns be lush and may you never be green around the gills. ;D Jo

It will still be a wonderful cab with the bottom rounded off. Can you still use the wrap in another piece? Maybe work it in somehow? Jo

Just an update, I got this batch of cabs through 14,000 mesh diamond yesterday. Got a few errands to run but when I get back I'm gonna work 'em up a little more and then hopefully take final pics.

Cathy, I am so jealous of your workspace. How nice it must be to start something and be able to walk away and come back to it any time, LOL. That is a real nice space. Can't wait to see what you do today. Jo
