Sure, you can bring rocks to the meeting although you need to wash the tongue marks off of them first...LOL LOL - Ok, note to self: Wash saliva off rocks before meeting. Do not wash them by licking them. LOL, yep, you got it.

Haha, catmandewe I know that and had a brain fart as to where your yard was... that's a little far south. We will definitely make it to check out your digs at Quartzite. drocknut she is a keeper for sure! She doesn't know it, but she has slowly become a rockhound. Well so glad you brought her over to the rockhound side...LOL.

That Rhodo is gorgeous. Great score. The other rocks are great too but I just couldn't stop looking at the Rhodo.

I was told if they sticky when you licky then they are fossil bone rather than gem bone. There is a difference. Also, you might want to join me at rocklickers anonymous....lol. You can beat em but you shouldn't lick em. LOL Oh, good to know! I wondered if all bone would be licky-sticky. And I definitely need to join Rocklickers Anonymous.....can I bring some rocks to the meeting? I was told that by a paleontologist who was taking a group of us out to dig dinosaur bones in eastern Montana. That was after he told us that we wouldn't find any bones that would be able to be polished and if we found anything significant it would be the property of the ranch. I found a few little bones but nothing to write home about. That was an expensive lesson I learned. I gave the pieces to a guy in the group who had a grandkid who liked dinosaurs. Sure, you can bring rocks to the meeting although you need to wash the tongue marks off of them first...LOL
