It's been kind of a crazy year and a half or so. Finally got to start on my new Stupid Room at the new house. The QT-6 is running coarse and the 45C has a batch in 120/220. No pics yet, they are sitting on a piece of scrap particle board on on old wooden table for now, still need to build a cabinet, work bench, shelving, wash station. The nice thing is my new work space is a room in the basement. The saws will live in the garage with the welders, drill presses, and other junk that has accumulated over the years. Hopefully I'll have something to contribute again before to long. Checked my notes and I shut down the tumblers last April to focus on getting other things done.

nowyo Thanks for the visuals. That Christmas picture is awesome! You wanted that sooooo bad, I can tell. I didn't even shoot my eye out! Russ edit to add: I have to laugh at Ralphie in that Christmas movie just because it is so close.

Great thread, hope some more chime in. I found a few pics. Mostly lousy quality, sorry about that. Helping Grandpa put the cows across the road after milking, 1958. With my dog Zip. Oh yeah, my bother and sister are in there as well, and the '64 Dodge. I'm always the geek with glasses. Teaching a calf to lead, getting ready to show at the county fair. What a great Christmas! Fast forward to 1999 in Colorado-all dolled up to be best man in a friends wedding. Talk about lipstick on a pig. Have a wonderful day. Rus

We're planning to go. Hoped to take the camper and stay awhile but may just run down for a couple of days. Guess I need to get my feces consolidated and figure it out.

Random thoughts. During this moving crap, during the heat of the summer I would drive at night. Easier on me, easier on the old trucks. Playing with the radio, I had forgotten about some of the weird crap on late night AM radio. Wow. Anyhow, listening to some weird station and they were talking about reunions. Got me thinking because my 40th high school reunion was a couple of years ago, didn't go. I've kept in touch with the ones I wanted to. Then get thinking how my life might have been different if I'd hooked up with that girl I was dating when I was a senior in high school.
No way of knowing, of course, but I figured I probably wouldn't be driving across the salt flats at 2:00 am in a 45 year old pickup. Made me laugh. No regrets at all, just random thoughts.

Russ ain't that big. Definitely not a .500. Russ what did ya pack on the wedding day? nowyo Nothing real special, just a 4 5/8 Blackhawk in .45 Colt. Russ edit to say sorry for late responses. For a bit here time is short and internet will be a little restricted until we get some stuff sorted out. Russ

Oh, found one. Not real old, our "official" wedding picture from 2005. Russ I thought the groom was supposed to have the gun pointed at him. Cyndi's brother walking her down the "aisle" How's that? Russ

Neat stuff. I've made drawer pulls from cut down old brass-rimmed cartridges work best for that. Now that brass is readily available again, it's possible to do stuff like that.

Getting a kick out of seeing all these pictures. Keep this thread going, I'll post a few in a few days-or a week-or sometime. Right now I'm in Wyoming waiting for the snow to stop and the old pictures are in Nevada.
