Didn't feel like working in shop today so didn't. Did shoot another video of Stinking Water oak. a bit over 11 inches tall. The highly polished face tends to blow out the details at times. shot a couple different angles but still blew it out a bit. I am waiting for good weather where I can try this outside in natural light.

Beautiful piece! I like the video presentation- you really get a fuller appreciation for the specimen.
That is why I started doing the videos, and then to cover up me making noises I added the music. Got bunch more to shoot one of these day! Glad you enjoy watching them!
Nice. So, wonder what happened to the strange one? Looks like someone cut it and glued it back together off center. Must have been drinking too much of that craft beer.
If it was a thunderegg, we would all it a slip egg. fractured slipped then rehealed.
All I know is that there is a lot of different materials found there. I even found nice agate 3 inch projectile point a few years ago.
My bad. I knew it was a grass. I always correct people about that with plan “trees” 🤣. That’s cool, you’re right I find all sorts of stuff there, or have. The Pieces get smaller and smaller.
He should just say what he want for them. Shipping the pet would will make it a non seller in my book. Without knowing more about the pet wood, it is yard rock value to me.
I think he just wants what's fair and he's not sure what that is. I think he said he bought them about 20 years ago.
He had a plan to ship the pet wood, similar to the way he received it. Something about a plastic trash can and sawdust. I don't know the first thing about pet. wood, so I didn't know if that was a great piece or just a big piece.
It may be a good piece, a great piece in my mind would be one that is a section of a log that would make full rounds. What kills the shipping is the wight of the item. can get expensive real quick.
