It is turning on small electric display turntable, about 4 inches in diameter. Works real good. I mount camera on a tripod. The long the video the larger the file size. I do run it thru windows movie maker 2020 to add music, text and to get it in a smaller format. Let it loop and it will seem longer.LOL I like it in the full screen mode.
I stopped using cologne years ago... I do to much hunting and fishing to worry about smelling good. Hahahaha It's come to the point where I don't like being around people (male and female that do), can't stand the smells that are on the markets now! Most over do the cologne and you can smell them a block away...LOL
So can the deer and elk! Some street dwellers could use a bit tho! I do use a bit of Old Spice aftershave once in while. Haven't been clean shaven since 1985 tho!
I used water when I first started using my drag saw. Softer material it would cut but had to dress the segments way to often. Would not work at all on agate materials. Switched over to using diesel and it cuts any material like a champ. I use Diesel in my 30 inch saw, was using mineral oil in the 18 and 24 but it gums up way to fast. I am using ATF in them now, that ought to get people screaming!! WILL GO to DIESEL next clean out.

Leave no egg uncut!!! Well, mostly anyway. I have large cluster of Buchanan eggs that I have cut yet. Still trying to figure out how to do it. Some of the best ones that I have gotten from Richardsons, had the cap pop' ed off.
Any evidence of rust with either of these "water" additives? Or do you drain daily?

Lube Cool is a water soluble lubricant that is 100% biodegradable. It is the most advanced 100% synthetic coolant on the market today. Use with all types of lapidary blades and diamond coated burs. 1 gal.
For Cutting applications: Mix 10 to 1 with water. For Grinding applications: Mix 20 to 1 with water. Lube Cool is the perfect water-soluble coolant. Excellent lubricating properties, and rust inhibitors, plus added skin conditioners. Does not contain any nitrosamines, phenols, nitrates, sulfur, chlorine, phosphates or oil
After I posted this I talked to a friend that tried water solvable lubes and he found that on his 36 in saw, it did NOT work at all. maybe on trim saws.

Hey folks, I'll be heading to Las Vegas the end of February to visit my daughter. Of course being in rock hound Shangri La I have to get out and find some rocks.
I guess my biggest concern is being from Wisconsin, most everything here is private property. The whole concept of wandering the desert for miles looking for rocks is a foreign concept to me.
I know there's mapping type apps I can download on my phone that show property lines, would that be something beneficial or a waste of time?
I'm mining for info daily online when I get the chance. I see the SNVGS had a claim so I'm going to try to get there one day. Not sure how that'll be because I won't have any equipment with me. I may find a hammer and chisel somewhere before I go there.
I've read NevadaBill comment about picking rocks in the washes so I'll maybe try that.
Any other pointers are appreciated.
If any members here want to meet for coffee or pick rocks for a few hours during the week when my daughter is working I'd be happy to meet you. NevadaBillvegasjames Anyone else?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Nate
ONX maping program is a good to have to enable one to know where you are at.
I was shooting a video and just snapped this still, but i think you get better edges using felt, minus the cat hair of course! The new version of Photoshop essentials sounds better than the old version I have.
Thanks. I ended up getting the belts from an ebay seller in Florida, what little industrial supply there is on island is ridiculously expensive. They really are nice for machines like this that would require complete disassembly to replace the belt, and the extra cost is easily justified by not needing to design a machine around a set belt length.
I use the link belts on my Texas Rocks bull wheels for the same reason, would have to take the machine half apart to just change belts. Plus they run a lot smoother.
I have been using cloudinary ever since I got it figured out. Not impressed with loading videos but still work great! maybe I need to go back and look at the presents for videos.
