Well, what do you know - none of the new pendants sold. In fact I only sold one silver smithed pendant this time. It was still a good show and I’ll do it again next year. It was packed with people the entire 3 days. Lynn

I did, but was so busy getting ready for a show and my Japan trip that I didn't even have time to open it. I'll deal with it when I get back. Sorry for the dalay. Lynn

Nice, I like the Zarguy bail too! I like the sound of that " zarguy " bail. I um, er, appropriated it from something I saw online. Not my design. Lynn

NRG - Sweet piece! If it's cabbing quality, you have a lifetime supply. I see some cool quartz veins running through the strata. Lynn

The pressure has been on me for a while. Finishing my taxes gave me some relief. I've got a show in the Salt Lake City area this weekend. One day home, then going to Japan for 2 weeks to visit my daughter. A couple days home, then doing a show Mother's Day weekend in Grand Junction, CO. A month or so back I was working on a Tiffany Stone pendant & had lots of trouble soldering a flattened wire around the edges. It put me in a funk because I was running into problems every step of the way. When I finally finished the pendant, it came out better than I had hoped. That helped me get out of my funk, so I started some more pendants. Yesterday I finished up 3 more. I got oohs and aahs from my wife for a couple of the new ones. I hope the shopping customers like them as well. Tiffany Stone from Utah Bruneau jasper from Idaho Royston Turquoise from Nevada Malachite from Africa Gaspeite Moroccan Seam agate (My sister thought I said See Maggot?) Satin Flash Opal from Utah. I used blackening inside the bezel cup to show off the flash better, but I think it makes the cab look gray. I'm going to remove the black & see if that helps. Thanks for looking. Lynn

txrockhunter - I'm loving the 4 shots of agate nodules. They look like what I would have bought if I was there. They look delicious & they're not even wet! Lynn

wayne40559 - Not sure what town in AZ, but there are lots of rock clubs. Join one or a couple. You'll be able to use club equipment & learn before you buy. You may also be offered used equipment at great prices. Club members are like that. Lynn

The tube looks like a fluoride flux. Generally consisting of potassium fluoride, borax and potassium carbonate. Be for soldering jewelry, not cabbing. Bummer, I was hoping I got some diamond paste in the deal. Lynn

I just bought a used Pixie that I found on craigslist. I noticed that there is very little space between the wheels & the lip of the cover - about 1.5mm. Is this normal? Do you have more space than this? I've heard that you must break in new Nova wheels. Is that because they're "spiky" when new? If so, don't the spikes on new Novas rub against the lip of the cover? Also, what is this piece of plastic? It's about 1.75" at its widest. Does it come with a Pixie, or did I just get some random part from the guy's garage? There was a syringe included. I'm assuming this is diamond paste. Can anyone identify it? I googled the numbers on the label, but no luck. TIA Lynn
