I don't but I read a lot about that combination being a great choice. Seems as if the used concentrators can be found readily easily on craigslist for a fraction of the cost of new ones.

I love these and I love your style. Thanks Ali. I really am enjoying watching you as you head down the smithing path as well.

Nice clean silver work and nice cabs too. Thanks for sharing. Chuck Thanks Chuck. I made a similar piece a couple years ago but chipped the stone when setting it. Luckily I did better this time.

Thanks Tela! I’ll look forward to seeing some of your smithing when you get all set up again! I think I am beginning to see the light. By late Spring, I should be / hope to be up. I'm already nervous. LOL! I’ve seen your cabs and your wraps. You’ll own this...no need to be nervous😉

Now that's what I am talking about. Great pieces and excellent workmanship. Thanks Billy! Someday I want to come up and visit. I’d love to see your shop and your process.

I like them a lot. That little xtra silver edge really works. Good to see more of your work. Thanks Tela! I’ll look forward to seeing some of your smithing when you get all set up again!

Lovely set. Especially like the pendent. Hidden bail makes it elegant. Thanks Pat! You nailed it with ‘elegant’ I think. I like the look of a hidden bail but couldn’t really explain why...

I haven’t done a ton of smithing recently, well much that I remembered to take a picture of. But I did finish these up this past weekend. I cut the stones, zebra agate back in June, (gads!), but hadn’t gotten to them for whatever reason. The earring stones don’t quite match, I ran out of material that was similar, but besides that I’m happy with how they turned out. Thanks to Ali and Billy for prompting me to post some pictures 😊

That is indeed a great question Tela. I don’t really regret any of the tools I have purchased for the silver work that I do. That being said, I’ve done everything on a shoestring and only have purchased tools as I need them. I always, always overthink any purchase I make; cars, television, a pair of pliers. But I do my research first and it has seldom let me down and I have few regrets. I suspect if you decide exactly what you want to make, it will make your decision as to what tools to buy a lot easier. Best tool I purchased was a flex shaft with a good foot control....don’t know how I did without one! And I’m slightly jealous of your rolling mill 😜

I really like them all, but orienting the “I dream of Jeannie” as you did is fantastic. Nicely done.

Ali those are great! I really like the first pendant. Is that a rivet on the bail or is it a soldered on accent. Love it!
