Had never heard of or seen this stuff till a club member handed it to me and asked me to cut and mount it. I was ready to cut it and asked him what the stuff was worth.. The rough was 4.4 gr. He said $100 a gram... Yowza.. Thats the most expensive stuff I have ever cut. Then I get it close to done... Weigh it... 3 gr. I turned $140 worth of material into rock snot! Then I go and see what gem silica is bringing.... $60 to $75 a ct........This will go as the high end for sure. So 15 cts at $75 is.... Woooow...$1,125 ... Even the low end is $900.. He wants it groove wrapped.... I gotta cut a groove in this thing..... Yikes!

Very nice looking material and cab! What are the dimensions? I guess I may be a little out of touch but I don't think I've ever seen gem silica priced quiet that high.

Beautiful cut. This is some of my favorite material. I have champagne taste on a beer budget, though. I have had several of these over the years and no pictures do it justice.

That is a beaut! And nice material, but too rich for my taste. I'd be shaking while I cut it T
