Can anyone tell me what this stuff is? I found a couple small pieces on the beach in Sorrento British Columbia, which is just west of Salmon Arm. Its not really hard, maybe a 5 or 6 (just guessing by how it cut/shaped). The bits on the cab that look like pits are actually clear material. It was a hard to get a really good shine with AO polish if that helps. This is the rough And here is a cab Thanks for any help.

Nice stuff.A.O. should polish just about anything-maybe you need to use more steps?In my vibes I use 800A.O.[after 500or 600 S.C.],then a 3 or so micron A.O. like TXP from Mn.Lap. then my all-time favorite,Rapid Polish #61 a .3 micron A.O. based polish.Mike.

No way that's any type of jade.
My guess is it's some type of seprentine formation.
