The Southeast Community Animal Hospital here in Greensboro NC did such a good job putting all the clues together and taking action. We had just pulled in here to Greensboro after about a week of punky dog and being off her feed the last two days while we were traveling.
Surgery went as well as we could have hoped for under the circumstances (not toxemia yet). She's in an overnight care facility receiving IV fluids and antibiotics and pain meds, and being monitored closely.
Thank you for your prayers and uplifting thoughts. We'll know more tomorrow. I'll keep you posted.

Great news (I just saw your first post about it). Glad it seems all over already. Lets stay on point though for her to recover to her normal self.

Angie visited her Grandma today who turned 90 years young this weekend. Angie was a very good visiting grand doggie and pranced through the assisted care facility happily. She used good manners and greeted everyone, including a gentleman who had two goldens in his life and missed them. She sat in front of his wheel chair while he petted her head and even nuzzled his hand when he stopped petting her. She came home a little tired and is resting comfortably. So glad to see her making steady progress. God is good.
