Hi All 2 weeks in the Lot"O" I just finished off a batch of free forms Beach and precuts 1 - Full Batch 2 - Closer look 3 - back side of a Jasper 4 - Pendants 5 -nice crazy lace 6 - crazy lace close up 7 - Amy 8 -Local Rocks 9 - Quatze 10 - green marked Quartze 11 - Red jasper( Back) 12 - Red Jasper (front) 13 - Granite Coments much appreciated Jack Yorkshire uk

Jack the rocks look great, and if I remember my geography lessons correctly you have some very interesting geology in your area. my favorite is always the local rocks as I get to see who has access to what in their backyard, which is always of interesting and informative. I may have to get one of those lot-o's one of these days,lol.

jack....so you pre cut them and throw them in a tumbler?? no grinding the edges of them?? they turned out beautiful .....

Hi Rock girl
I do grind the shape on the preforms as after 220 stage 2 not a lot of grinding of shape happens
on Softer stones you can drop them in at 400 or 600 G acording to the sharpness of the edge that you want say on a Kite shape
I find that I get areal good finish on some of the cabs
The Amozite needed polishing with Zam as so did the Lapis
But I got them to the shape I wanted
