Beautiful as always, Don! I'm eagerly awaiting to be 1/2 as good as you at tumbling.

Great polish! Where is this batch of Amethyst from? I ask just because is fun to know what part of the world it comes from.

I smiled when I saw the rose quartz, it looks like some of mine I have thrown in here and there, then even more when I saw Gandolf the Grey reaching out in the last one.

Great shine on those. Heck, I waved back and I saw my hand's reflection coming off of your rocks. Condor

Nice color combination there, and killer shine! You might have combed your hair before taking the last pic, I can see some rebel hairs there ;D ;D

Don, they are great, probably the best tumbled amethyst I have ever seen, and it has to have taken enormous patience to get a flawless batch like that.

With all due respect to our erstwhile boardmate and shine king, James, I hereby proposed we officially change the term "to james" and make it "to don." Can I get a second on the motion?
Great looking stuff, as always.

Thanks everyone for the kind words!
Randy -- these spent over 3 weeks in polish, much longer than I would have liked. I opened the barrel several times to check them out, removing pellets and adding water to try to speed things up. In the end, I just kept rolling them until I was happy with the shine.
Rocky -- To the best of my knowledge, the amethyst is from Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. There is one other piece in the batch that has a lighter purple colour and comes from somewhere else, but I don't know where.
