I have made a few pendants so I decided to sell some of them to my fellow workers and give all the money to World Vision. Some of the employees, including me, sponsor a young lady thought there. My boss has went to Africa to see the young lady he and his wife sponsor. I was hoping to raise $150. I thought that would be great. Well the ladies at the office were some amazing sales people. The Utility office and the city offices are in the same building. Only a few ladies in the utility but many in the city. They all bought! I ended up with $650 for World Vision. That has made me very happy. At $3 a pendant and $10 for earing's that was a lot of drilling. I made about 12 sets of earing's and pendants so that was a lot of shaping on the flat lap. Sure was fun though. Some of what I did. Sorry about some of the photos. On this one the stones on the side were thick so I split them to make a matching set and the earning's are split from a pendant and matched the best I can. I try to do all the earing's that way. MrP

Great story, MrP, especially this time of year.
Your pendants and earrings'll be like a World Vision badge for all the women in that building, like the pink ribbon or the yellow ribbon.

Thank You for the nice comments. It was so much fun to see the excitement everybody had plus others get to benefit from it. Kim The person I made those for made a necklace with them. He bought a nice chain that he split apart and put everything in a row. I wish I had gotten a pic of them because they came out very good. The Crazy Lace looked like a top of the line set. He was really happy with it..... MrP

Another example of RTH generosity. We may all have rocks in our heads but certainly do NOT have hearts of stone! You are wonderful and so is your work. Susan2
