Roy, try posting this in the Board Issues section below. One of the mods will look into the problem for you.

I just saved a map in my google maps that we can try out. If anyone wants to try putting themselves on it (it's called collaboration), and try it out. You gotta highlight the whole address and paste it into your browser: maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF&msa=0&msid=106349598611818691516.0004969b27f62d1e76e89

I just signed onto the Google map (Thanks) If you need directions.......go to the map in the link, save it to "my maps" (you have to have a Google Account), find your location, click on the blue balloon at the top of the page, place it at (or near) your location, click, fill in your details...that's it.
Oh, and click "done" at the left of the map.

Way to go, Jo! And thanks Lee for the help. It took me a little while to figure it out. The first thing that you have to do, though, is click on the "edit" to the left of the map; then it will show the blue "marker" that you place & the rest is easy. Just save & it's good to go.
Thanks again,
Don

All right, now that I have my map marked, what do I do with it ? I'm a computer dummy. Someone is going to have to talk me through this thing.

Lee, I opened an account, clicked on Jo's link, map comes up--How do I save it to my maps? I'm really feeling dumb right now because I'm not seeing any way to save.

Got me...I lost the page when I saved it. Is there an edit button to the left of the map? If there is, click it. Lee

Look for the words "Save to My Maps" at the bottom on the left hand side in blue and underlined to save it to your account.
Otherwise, put yourself on the map by clicking edit, click on the blue pin at the top left of the map, grab it and place it where you are, then a box pops up and you can fill in your info, click the OK button, then click Save on the left hand side.
If you don't save it to your maps, you can always bookmark it and check it again to see who is on the map.

Sands, how did you get the little RV thumbtack?
Also, can you make a clickable word link that says "RTH Map" that people here can just click and not have to do all the copying and pasting? I tried, and it wouldn't work.
