Never did any porcelain but I've cabbed exotica which is similar. Very pretty stuff and a great pattern. I was thinking a silver wrap too. It would have to be a manly wrap though. I don't think I've ever seen a wrap for a man though. Have you done any?

That shape is perfect for the material. Porcelain Jasper has no end to the variety of patterns that you get to work with! Bob

Randy, can you take just a couple of pics as you wrap it, not a tut but just a couple. Really looking forward to seeing this baby wrapped.

Absolutely Lori, I'll take a bunch of pics. I'll be "heavy in thought" since I'm not sure exactly how I'm gonna tackleeee this one, but I have a good idea. Tonyterner- This is Exotica, just a very unusual piece. Most of the rock looked like the typical stuff until I started cutting the other end and got to what you see here. I was able the get three small slabs like this one.

I thought exotica & porcelain were the same thing (as well as sci-fi) Are these all the same thing?

Beautiful! It's the perfect shape for that pattern, it looks like a worn shield that saved many times the live of the chevalier. The traces of sword hits are visible. It looks you are a winner, Sir Randy:)

sweet shape and pattern, good shine, sometimes that stuff is tuff to get good sparkle.
that would make a wild pattern to paint a bike.

Thanks y'all!! Nancy- yep.... porcelain, exotica, and sci-fi. Also it was recently brought up that porcelain is just a type of jasper that covers many varieties.
