Here are some agate cabs I've finished recently. I really like the Madagascar plume colors. I've also been working on some amethyst sage, BC picture rock and Deschutes picture jasper cabs. I'll post some images of those when I get them done. I got a new 40 grit crystalite wheel for ripping out preforms and I'm having a lot of fun with it. WOW!!!
Words cannot even express how I feel about these!!
These are all real stones and such???!!
My mind is not able to wrap around these.
What are they and how do they develop? Grow? Excuse my wording ...

Well, I've had my plume fix for the day! Those are stunning! I also use a Crystalite 40 grit wheel, and it is awesome how it will eat the hardest agate for breakfast. You can even hold a freeform or cab at an angle to the edge of the wheel and bevel the edges of the stone. What a handy wheel!

Those are extraordinary!! I agree with Julie in an earlier post. It is hard for me to get my head around the fact that these were just "plain ole" rocks until they were put in your hands. The skill and artistry I have seen in this forum blows me away!! Beautiful work!

WOW that Prescott plume is outstanding , where did you find/get that ? Dennis I picked it up at the NW Regional rock show in Portland. I got it from a jewelry dealer. It was in a dusty little box amongst lots of jewelry items. I have several other preforms, some with an incredible red plume. I have never seen it anywhere else. Dan

Good Lord! Genuine Jaw Droppers HPD, your cabs are outstandingly glorious, quite the most amazing sequence I've ever seen posted. I love Agates of all types and I'm in danger of wearing out the scroll wheel here just gazing up and down these beauties. The range of materials you've worked here is wonderful. Although each and ever one of them is a gem beyond words, if I have to opt for just one, it'd be that Madagascan Pink Plume, it's staggering! Thanks so much for sharing your talents with these oversized beauties, I'm off to see what rough I've got to have a go at one of those monsters! Inspirational work! Cheers, Sparkles.

Wow - All beautiful! The Robinson Ranch cab reminds me of the old Eagle Rock material they were pulling out in the 50's and 60's. Great work and wonderful material.
