While we were in Arizona, Jamie gave my wife, Chris, a cabbing lesson (Thanks Jamie). Tonight Chris decided to try cabbing some of the material we brought back from Arizona. Here are her first 3 cabs, pretty good I think. Here is a piece of Rocky Butte with some druzy pockets that she did too. Thanks for looking..................Tony

WTG Chris. You really got the shine down on all of these. I love the shape of the middle one in the first pic and the colors and drusies in the Rocky Butte.

Cool Tony... Glad to see that Genie getting some use. Is that some of the material you gave me this afternoon? Also tell Chris that she did a great job and keep it up.

Chris did a fine job on these. The materials are nice also. I love the first two, I have to keep going buck up the page to see them again.

Hey Jason, yeah that is some of the stuff we gave you. I have some better pieces for you here sitting on the side of my driveway, dont know why I threw it out when I was cleaning the truck out.
Must be that alzenheimers or whatever, how did the jewelry class go? I made a cab of the green stuff tonight, it shines up good, think it will be some really good stuff.

With so much rough rocks and slabs surrounding her, it is normal to be tempted to cab. Great start, my favorite is the pentagonal one.

She did a great job on her first cabs. Is she "hooked" now?

Chris, Very nice for your first cabs! The dome on the first one looks very good. That is some pretty agate. I love the colors.

The silver pendant is just about done. I just need to run it through a burnishing cycle and set the stone. All I can say is Peter has some serious silversmithing skills. Jason

Tony: Your wife did very good with her first cabs. Now you have to either get another cab machine, or accept that you will not be cabbing when you want to cab. This, I know from experience. Woody
